“Growing Whyte Rose is” an exploration of Wild Rose Vintage, a small thrift company that relishes in reselling the clothing of the 90’s and Y2K eras. This documentary short was created as part of BCSC 207: Documentary Film Principles and Practices, winter 2024 semester, Department of Communication, at MacEwan University.
In August 2024, the Department of Communication at MacEwan University hosted the second Journalism Bootcamp. The two and a half day bootcamp allowed high school students in Edmonton to experience what it is like to be a journalist
What’s in a meal? For Fu’s Repair Shop head chef Tsing Chen, what she cooks up in the kitchen and serves to her guests is deeply rooted in her culture. Produced as part of the 2022 TV Studio Internship in the Department of Communication at MacEwan Media Production.
“Keeping Traditions Alive“ takes a look into the Lion Dance scene in Edmonton, following performances and rehearsals that provide a behind the scenes look. This documentary short was created as part of BCSC 207: Documentary Film Principles and Practices, winter 2024 semester, Department of Communication, at MacEwan University.
